The Cube Climbing Gym is a unique project that is the result of hundreds of hours of recruiting, organizing, fundraising, designing, negotiating, assembling, sanding, hammering, drilling, screwing, staining, and anchoring by the Kootenay Climbing Association and a dedicated group of local climbers. Studio 9 is honoured to be part of the process in the creation of Nelson’s first ever cooperative run climbing gym. Studio 9 helped the gym stay on path to building code compliance through the design and construction phases.
