Location: Johnstone Road, Nelson BC

For a small residential renovation, Studio 9 employed the concept of ‘living carpet’ to bring a botanical bounty into and around this small home situated on a sunny, south-facing slope on the north shore of Kootenay Lake.  A ribbon of greenery composed of perennials, native species, and small edible plants emerges from the front lawn and wraps its way around the house to the rear of the lot.
