This client came to us with clearly defined programming goals and architectural design but needed assistance in navigating the regulatory environment for obtaining a building permit. The distillery’s remote location proved to be a challenge for maintaining a modest budget while still meeting building and fire code standards. Studio 9 worked together with the client and a building code consultant specializing in distilleries to come up with a design solution that satisfied all the necessary building code requirements.
